De Gea becomes World’s highest paid goalkeeper

Spain goalkeeper, David De Gea finally becomes the World’s highest paid goalkeeper after signing new contract with club.

De Gea’s new deal with Manchester United will run until 2025, leaving him with £110m over six years.

The Spanish will sign the £375,000 weekly deal when the club return from their pre-season tour.

De Gea, 28, joined the Red Devils from Atletico Madrid in 2011.

He also won a Premier League title, an FA Cup, a League Cup and three Community Shields domestically, to go with a Europa League title in 2016/2017.
