808 Records Boss, Dotman in his newly single titled “Naija” reminds the government of the current situation in the country and what the youths go through in the hands of their own brothers who were called to protect them.
The artiste hits so many nails on the head with talks about Police Brutality, Xenophobia, Bad Governance, Rape, Poverty, Corruption and lots more.
Dotman cries for effective change and appeals to Africa to Unite as ONE and fight the real enemy which is Poverty and Corruption.

4. May D – Like You – (8/10)

This is no news that this is Mr May D’s first song of the year, and to shock us, he came through on this.
Confirm Entertainment artiste, May D drops a new song titled “Like You“.
And we shouldn’t be surprise if this is also is only single of the year.

3. Reekado Banks – Rora – (8/10)

Former Mavin Recording artiste, Reekado Banks (Reeky baby) has released yet another banging single titled “Rora“.
Another thing about this song is the production, it can give you musical orgasm (in Hafeestonova’s voice), the guitar used keeps listeners OMG. And him having that instrumentals, he went straight ahead and killed the track.

2. Cobhams Asuquo – More Than Pretty – (9/10)

Award-winning Producer, Cobhams Asuquo made his first feature on TPN Top 5 Songs of the Week with a new single titled “More Than Pretty”. This song comes with a powerful message to inspire women.
Although, the song shakes some table but it’s a reminder that contrary to what we have been made to believe, there is more to a woman than her contours, proportions, and wifely potential.

1. Tiwa Savage – 49-99 – (9/10)

ROC Nation artiste, Tiwa Savage came through with her first official single after her Mavin exits titled “49-99”.
The amazing thing about this song is the production by Pheelz, it was dope and awesome. Also, Tiwa Savage revealed that the song was co-written by Olamide and Pheelz.
The meaning of the song title “49-99” was traced back to an old Fela song about suffering and smiling, 49 sitting and 99 standing in the popular “Molue” commuting bus.
