Rotary Club donates PPE to Lagos hospital (SEE PHOTOS)

The Rotary Club, Gbagada branch, has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH.

The club made this donations to support the State Government for usage by the Health workers and security personnel in eradicating the COVID-19 pandemic.

As at time of writing this, Lagos has recorded over 950 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

LASUTH Chief Medical Director, Prof Adetokunbo Fabamwo, welcomed, received and appreciated the donated items from the President, Rotarian Akinwale Odutola.

He said that the hospital requires all kind of support it can muster at this time, particularly the scarce PPE which is very essential for the protection of health workers who are caring for the infected patients and suspected cases.

The CMD appreciate the Rotary Club for the donation of the essential N95 masks which is much needed by frontline health providers during this pandemic period

Rotary President Odutola reciprocated the gesture by appreciating the efforts of the LASUTH management and all health workers in the fight against COVID-19 to curb the spread in the state.
