Sky Sports expert, Dharmesh Sheth, said the deal will be wrapped up this morning.

Luiz, sharing same agent with Arsenal’s technical director Edu, shows it should not take long to agree terms.

“I have just received another text regarding David Luiz, probably be done in the morning.

“This looks like he will be an Arsenal player. Luiz should be done in the morning,” Sheth said.

The British transfer window slams shut at 5pm today, so club’s are rushing to finalise their squads for the start of the new season.

Arsenal’s defender, Laurent Koscielny, yesterday, joins Bordeaux. This makes the Gunners need a replacement.

Another Sky Sports expert, Kaveh Solhekol, shares that Lampard is happy to let go of Luiz.

“Let’s not forget that Chelsea are under a transfer ban at the moment so even if they wanted to sign a replacement they wouldn’t be able to,” he said.

“That just shows you how much Frank Lampard is happy with him going.”

“It’s not an easy step” – van Dijk tells Tierney

Arsenal transfer target, Kieran Tierney will have to raise his game if he seals his long-awaited move to the Emirates.

That is the verdict of the Celtic star’s former Parkhead team-mate Virgil van Dijk, who first move to England with Southampton in 2015 and now plays for Liverpool.

“It is not an easy step to make and you have to play well to do it,” Van Dijk said. “But Kieran has the qualities.

“He made his debut against Dundee when I was at Celtic. I scored a free-kick and then he came on and helped us get the win.”

Arsenal receives boosts to sign Tierney following Napoli not showing interest in the player.

Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti revealed he is not interested in the player.

Arsenal plot double Juventus deal

Arsenal are ready to offer Juventus the chance to offload Sami Khedira as part of an agreement for Daniele Rugani.

Khedira is on the edge at the Allianz Stadium following an influx of new signings, including former Arsenal midfield, Aaron Ramsey.

Khedira was in the stands as Arsenal lost 2-1 to Lyon in the Emirates Cup on Sunday, fuelling speculation he could join the Gunners.

Now La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Unai Emery could take Khedira off Juve’s hands to help facilitate a two-year loan of Rugani.

Arsenal’s Unai Emery not keen on Khedira

Arsenal are unlikely to seal Sami Khedira signature this summer, despite the German being spotted at The Emirates.

The Gunners boss, Unai Emery, on Sunday admitted that he had not heard any rumour linking the player with a move to the club.

“Khedira is a very good player but this is the first time I have heard his name mentioned,” Emery told a press conference after 2-1 defeat to Lyon in the Emirates Cup.

The German World Cup winner joined Juventus in 2015 from Real Madrid, but continues to struggle in his last two seasons.

Khedira, 32, made just 10 appearances in the league in the 2018/2019 season as form and fitness woes continued.

Since the arrival of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey this summer, it’s guessed that Khedira’s time may be up.

Rumours had it that Arsenal and Wolves are interested in offering the German international a place.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Juventus are ‘examining the squad’ and are considering selling a number of players, as they look forward to the new season.

Dembele makes decision on future

French international, Moussa Dembele looks set to snub Manchester United if they come calling for him to replace want-away Romelu Lukaku.

According to Sky Sports reports, Dembele is seen as an option for the Red Devils if Lukaku leave the Old Trafford.

Its been confirmed that Lyon hitman is happy to stay at his present club and not ready to leave the club.

“The most important thing is that we won. I want to be an undisputed starter this season.

“I’m going to have perform well consistently. I want to have a great season with Lyon,” Dembele said.

Liverpool set to offload Ryan Kent

Liverpool are ready offload youngster Ryan Kent before the transfer window closes, but are not willing to allow him to move out on loan.

The winger has failed to impress during pre-season and is unlikely to break into the first team.

For that reason, Jurgen Klopp is ready to let the 22-year-old leave, but will not allow him back on loan.

He spent last season on loan at Rangers, who are keen to have him back, but have been told they must fork out £8million

Rangers have been interested in bringing Kent back to Ibrox after a successfull spell last season. But have been told the player will be available for £8million.

After Liverpool’s 3-0 defeat to Napoli at Murrayfield, Klopp ended Rangers hopes of a reunion.

He said:

“The time is over, I think, for loans, because of his age. The players need to find a place where they can settle. A loan is not an option.”

Arsenal receives boost in Tierney’s race

Arsenal are in pole position to sign Celtic defender, Kieran Tierney, after Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti revealed he is not interested in the player.

Tierney is expected to leave Celtic this summer amid interest from Arsenal and Napoli.

The left-back was viewed as the ideal defensive cover for Unai Emery’s side, who shipped 51 goals last season.

And it looks like they will get their man, after Ancelotti dismissed Napoli’s interest.

“Am I aware of Kieran Tierney? I know him and he is a really good young left-back, but he is a Celtic player.

“We are looking for a lot of players for this coming season but we have two good left-backs,” Ancelotti said.

This looks more like a good boost for the North London side to seal the deal of this star.
